The AIIMs question leak

The current news on the leaking of MBBS entrance exam by a senior lecturer named Meena Aggarwal has really raised many question. Firstly, the questions comes on the free and fairness of the entrance tests conducted by national level ‘high profile’ institutes. Secondly, how many more Meena Aggarwalas are present who are yet to be nabbed? There may be many who are still hidden and thus, playing with the lives of the aspirants with false promises.

When a student sit for an entrance examinations, he or she has much hopes to clear. Those who study through capitation fee has no problems. Their parents can help them to buy a degree. But, those students who want to stand on their own feet through their merit has to face many hurdles, may be due to finance or proper guidance or may be due to lack of information. Along these, if the entrance exam that they appear has some discrepancies, than it is really shameful.

India has been a land where teachers are considered equivalent to God, as the phrase goes, Guru Brahma, guru Vishnu, guru deva Maheshwara, guru Shakshat Parabrahma, Tasveih Shri Guruvei Namah. This has been running in our veins since time immemorial.

So, any fraudililty on the behalf of a guru is nothing but disgraceful. A teacher is a teacher, as long teacher is a verb; but as soon it reduces to a noun, the future of the society is at stake.

It is disgraceful but have we ever tried to find out the cause behind these acts. It's the rampant commercialization of education responsible for these trends in the field of education.

The level of corruption is so deeply rooted in the blood that now it has gone to the genetic level, only a mass punishment will save us and few good people because of whom india is still called india otherwise it is a rot.
